The KVPY summer workshop 2012 is being held at the IISER-K as a part of the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna to expose talented undergraduates in the field of basic sciences. The theme of this workshop is Flavor of Indian scientific contribution.

Additionally the Workshop also aims to impart some preliminary techniques in the areas of nonlinear dynamics, chaos, fractals,optical trapping and solitons through its topical lectures. This would bring to the undergraduate students the flavor of scientific research in some of the frontline research areas.
